Magic Classes
Age: 8-12
Make a coin appear! Cut and restore a rope! Predict a card! In this introductory magic course, you will learn a variety of basic magic tricks using cards, coins, ropes and other common objects. An emphasis will be placed on storytelling and you will study misdirection, public speaking and how to effectively engage an audience. Learning and performing magic can increase confidence and improve social skills. A beginners' magic class, no experience required! All materials supplied.

Rosalind Chan
Rosalind Chan has been a magic instructor with the Vancouver School Board & various art studios over the years. She is an experienced magic instructor and educator that has run countless participatory science and magic workshops for elementary school students. In addition, Rosalind is also an online ESL teacher as well as a performing magician. She loves working with children and encouraging them to be creative and to make their own discoveries. Rosalind sees magic as an eclectic art form that combines many arts and embraces the mindset that "Anything is Possible". She looks forward to sharing this wonderful craft with you all!
